The beginning….

Standard

Today was our first day of Residency. Some of my peers were excited, some were scared. I was kind of neutral. I knew from the beginning that this year is going to be super intense. I have heard from lots of past residents that one definitely needs a break after finishing the program. We were given orientation to how things run at Fraser Health, our responsibilities, expectations and how to have a great year ahead! The ‘Survival guide’ would definitely come in handy. Dr. Dillon told us to take advantage of opportunities that come our way and to milk it! I am sure we will all be loved 🙂 I looked at some bed time readings last night and there were some surprises as well. My schedule has been revamped: new preceptors! I am looking forward to our first day of Administration rotation at Langley Hospital tomorrow.

About rajwantminhas

I just finished my pharmacy degree at UBC. I am excited to be part of Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services. My goal is to get exposed to different kinds of disease states, medications and become better at applying my knowledge. Patient interaction is another aspect that I am going to strive to get better at. I am looking forward to this intense year and learning tonnes!
